Rating:
Nice pens for the horses, water hydrants are plentiful and handy, hoses are provided near the pens. The trails are wide and well groomed. There are both electrical and non electric sites for camping. Pull through camping sites are easy to access with large rigs. Two porta pots located in the campground. A really nice day use area is available with both pens and tie rails. The real star is a permanent obstacle course that is set up for everyone to use. It is complete with a narrow bridge, a teeter-totter, pyramid, car wash, and more! There is also a small arena to work a young horse or to let your beginner rider have a chance to gain some confidence before taking to the trails. This park is a real jewel! Many thanks to the Back County Horseman, the parks equestrian committee, and other volunteers that put in so many hours making it special! more....
